The Blind Catfish Debut Album ‘The King of the River’ Now Available.
Milan, IT – E-Grapes Promotion is pleased to announce the release of a top quality Rock Blues debut album. The King of the River, by The Blind Catfish is now available worldwide, digitally and on CD (on demand).
With a fairly evocative name, “The Blind Catfish”, this international Rock Blues band, formed in 2012 in Emilia Romagna a few weeks before the well-known earthquake tragedy, is presenting their very first release “The King of the River”, a collection of blues tales inspired by Italian longest river: Po, of which the king is the biggest fish of all, the Catfish, a blind Catfish, to be precise, that, like in the band’s logo is wearing funky sunglasses.
After being recognized nationally as one of the most interesting new blues bands, with a series of live shows which included two apparitions on Blues Made in Italy (a major festival in Northern Italy) and an impressive FM Radio airplay of their first single “The Ballad of the Lonely Sock”, The Blind Catfish are now ready to present to the rest of the world their fresh blend of blues, roots rock, country and even blues-pop (we suggest you to listen to their version of Michael Jackson’s hit “Billy Jean”, conclusive track on the album).
